Snippets of Seven National News and State Affair back in the eighties - the long-time leading Queensland news and current affairs service anchored by Mike Higgins, with Frank Warrick, Janne Rayner, Nev Roberts, Ken Hose (filling in for Noel Stanaway), Ian Hislop, Glenn Taylor, David Fordham, Pat Welsh and Glen Palmer - "nightly at six".

The official opening of the Riverside Centre - a skyscraper designed by Harry Seidler and located at 123 Eagle Street, Brisbane. Completed in 1986, it is 40 levels and rises 146 metres.

  • spectacular, great-looking LA-inspired news there. It looks like KNBC. I love the greenery! The format (news, weather, sports) also American-influenced.

  • Oh dang! You edited the Brissy Bullets story LOL. Seriously I loved watching this and thanks for uploading it but as an ol' Bullets supporter I got excited when it was mentioned the Bullets were coming up, and there was nothing! I just loved the 'Mr Squiggles" drawings on the weather map LOL

  • Great laugh at 9:30 with a chat about broken arms, great to hear Fordo having a laugh there too.
