Bad Company 2 Knife Tips

Some extra things: Lightweight helps you flank faster and therefore not as exposed for long. Playing recon for the ghillie suit also helps.

And for fun I typed this:

the part where you started explaining at 1:18 is bullshit.. you dont always get a stab when the enemy is in front of you. I've dodged MG3 and shotgun rounds for a set of gold tags and 70% of the time i get a slash. Pull out the knife about 2 steps before you get to the enemy while running forward and it runs through them. Im not a noob, i have over 9000 tags at rank 42.

You get a slash 70% of the time? I get stabs. I probably get slashes less than 10% of the time.

How do you force a lunge knife?

Whats a good way to escape when being chased by a knifee? i tried zig zagging but still get knifed.

Jumping is terrible for me because the enemy just glides and knifes me in mid-air.

Ps- i have almost 5000 tags too so im not a noob

Just have to be close enough. Maybe holding down forward helps.

Walk backwards and shoot. This pisses me off(as a knifer receiving this) the most because in this game when you get hit by bullets you are also slown down. This causes the knifer to potentially not register as you can move into the "non reg" range. You'll probably kill them easier if they go for the knife because of the unbreakable, .50sec knife, animation.

Jumping is only for the knifer. It won't help you dodge the knife. ;)

I hate when people say snipers don't help the team. They made the game for long range sniping and if you can kill and spot a decent amount of people then your doing a job.

My... Thanks for the tips man! I just played a rush game and got 9 knife kills without distracting from my teams' objective at all. I might as well get myself a new mouse, since the one I have asks for replacement anyway.

I still have the knife ad the middle mouse button, and dont have problems to knife @ all and played long enough to know what i'm talking about ;)

Ya especially if you have 2 snipers in your squad that are awful you can't do much with what you have when your not sniping.

Use E for knifing F for vehicles G for grenades - best and most standart setup ever.
