When tornados manifest in places with red clay soil, water sometimes mixes with the rusty dirt resulting in a phenomenon called blood rain. The iron oxide that makes the soil red is the same element that colors our blood. The mirroring between internal and external from which that strange weather takes its name and the dendritic patterning defined by flow, wether the flow of blood in the veins or the flow of electricity in a lightning bolt, inspired this short video.
