  • why do you guys throw it in the water???i mean cmon bluefish is so freaking good to eat!!!

  • blues make for a fun day when the bass wont bite!!

  • @bulldude8796 Well i went down to south carolina about 2 months ago soooo its a little late now. But when i was down there i used 40 pound braid leader and caught a couple 5 pounders with a spoon and then went to the pier and used a gotcha-plug with a steel leader and caought a couple smaller ones and a few spanish mackerel

  • @NewenglandsJeep its spelled striper.

  • @xkillswitchx23 Ok the other day i was 17 pound test and it was fine, until the humongous monster stripers came.... so i recommend an amazing rod and ATLEAST 40 pound test, and btw use a steel leader and live mackerel as bait if you can catch some.

  • aqui no brasil sao conhecidas como enchovas.....em que lugar dos USA foi realizada essa pescaria de gator bluefish

here in Brazil are known as anchovies ..... where in the USA was held this gator bluefish fishery

  • @xkillswitchx23 12lb mono is fine providing you are on the beach with a sandy bottom. I use 60-80lb mono leaders with lures or steel leaders with bait. Good luck.

  • What pound test do you use?

Me and my dad only get to go blue fishing one week a year so i wanna know if 12 pound mono with a 25 pound braid leader would be good for landing fish this big (or even bigger)

    Please reply

  • Every place I fish people curse the catch of a blue. I would rather catch 10-15 pound blues all day VS catching one 60lb stripper in my lifetime from the surf. (although I will still take that stripper :-))
