Lap of the Circuit de Reims Gueux

A lap of the now disused and partly destroyed circuit de Gueux near Reims in western France.
Fangio, Hawthorn and many other raced here before it closed in 1970.
The original lap went straight on at the 'courbe' and then turned hard right onto the cresting straight.

Thanks guys. It was such a shame the weather was so terrible, but it's a spooky place to wander around- especially behind the pit complex.

thank you for letting me dream away.... What a shame indeed that this piste had disappeared. Fortunately some buildings remained. Landscape and memory... Anyway, I think the friends of the Circuit de Geuex did a good job....

That's a terrific film, the modern vandalising of Rheims is dreadful.

One of the greatest real road courses the world has ever seen.
