@yoruichisan19 Not all schools in Japan teach that, it just happens that my high school has a class for Japanese dancing (Nihon Buyou), and we had to learn how to wear a kimono, in class as well.. But even if you google 'obi', you'll notice the difference! :)

Strange. I do not learn that one. (It's not like I can, since I do not live in Japan, LOL) but it seemed to be sloppy even for me.

I was going to say that this was the redneck way of tying an obi because it lacks all grace, but that wouldn't be right because a redneck would at least cinch it down with a purpose.
-
i loled at the end frame... it's so messy, kinda looks like a drunken fk in a kimono...
-
So shittayy. D: It's really rushed.
-
um is that for real?
-
uh... it's so messy... :\

I go to a Japanese school in Japan, and we had to do it for Japanese dancing class/ Nihon Buyou.

@BebeYnez what school do you go to?

I see myself that it is a little untidy, but even though the demonstration was quite fast, this was very helpful c:
I'm not bragging or anything, but it is sloppy. I'm not sure if it's sloppy in purpose... But I take lessons for kimono wearing at school, and believe me, if my teacher sees that, she's going berserk.

That was really messy. Also I've seen most people loop the obi around the bow twice before just sticking the rest in. But good thing is it got the point across.
