Ecureuil AS350B2 start up and take-off from Samoens (French Alps). The pilot starts the engine then make all adjustments waiting machine warming then take-off.
First off, the pilot looked shakey! I am a B2 "A-Star" pilot full time, for a government agency. Im alarmed by the fact that when the pilot placed the "FFCL" in the "gate", that he didnt do any if his hydraulic checks!!!! The flight manual calls for that on the B2's. He never tested his 3 hydraulic accumulators by activating the hydraulic test switch, nor did he test the hydraulic isolation switch located on his collective!!!! He never tested hia low rotor horn (aka: "klaxon" as its called
