My KORG Kaossilator has a glitch!

Here is a video that helped me get me $60 free in giftcards on Amazon:

  • I think thats actually a feature, theres a way to splice the beats, saw it on another video

  • That part isn't the glitch, it is supposed to go like that. I'll explain the glitch.

Normally, if you record something at 8 measures, and you change it to h, or that super fast one, it gos like all spazzy and cool, bu then you put it back. But not everybody knows that you can record for 16 measures if you start it up special, but when I record at 16 and put it to h, I can't get it back to normal.

  • It's an actual glitch with the machine, but thanks.

Uhh, anywhere, I got mine at Axe Music, but thats only canada. Try amazon.

  • In Loop Length 16 mode, any beat retriggering you do is permanently recorded. I used that to effect in my own video, "State of the Arp".

  • my kaossilator does the same exact thing, i go to 16 beets, splice it to 8 then 4 then 2 than 1 than half and than back to say 16 and it just loops like its on 1, can i contact amazon about this too?

  • @upperlevelthegreat holy shit I wrote my comment bofre hearing that shit in the end holy crap thats broken dude

  • Its no glitch when you do this to sound like a motor effect it saves it isn't mine does the same thin gand I saw some outher dudes using that.

  • ha yeah your just misusing the beat slicing function but cool.

  • there is nothing actually wrong with your kaossilator

  • ok!

  • Sorry for my patronising over-use of the word 'actually'. How irritating of me :-p

Wasn't meant to sound at all patronising :-)

  • Erm...I have a Kaossilator and it also does that. Unless I'm much mistaken that's not a fault as such.

It actually records the changes you make, when you change the measure length like that in 16 measure mode.

If you check some other videos this is actually used creatively, though I haven't got the skills to do it yet myself.

Well done for getting something for nothing back off Amazon! Well worth the effort :-)
