This, and a few other recordings by the Zenith, form some of the best recorded NO brass band music from the period. It has Lewis clt, Jim Robinson tbn, Avery "Kid" Howard, Peter Bocage tpts, Isadore Barbarin mellophone, Harrison Barnes bar horn, Joe Howard tuba, Baby Dodds snare dm, Lawrence Marrero bs dm.

  • Thought Rudi Blesh had a hand in organizing this outfit for recording

  • @nicktbiz SO WHAT?

  • I seem to remember that Ken Colyer recorded this with Ian Wheeler playing all those George Lewis licks

  • Bought this in 1949 with beerbottle return money§ Thanks for the great memory!

  • My old band the Crescent City Stompers in England, always played this in the 50's because it was a great tune by George and the guys.Nice to hear it again.
