  • There are various pieces of software that control motorized mounted scopes. All commercial as far as I know, but there might be freeware stuff.

  • Is the tracking software commercial or does it have to be made?

  • Im not saying the landing was faked.......In fact i am a strong believer that they did land on the moon.....but they could have faked it......I just cant wait to go back!

  • The camera is capturing more or less what would be seen through an eyepiece. Distortion depends on locale, scope and atmospheric conditions. It's a visually very small object moving very fast, so in all but perfect seeing conditions with a excellent scope there will be some degree of distortion like this.

  • does it look better without a camera? or is the distortion really that bad?
