@MrReuben13 Actually, Kevin initially did a very different voice for Bruce (lighter, more sophisticated) in the animated series, but the producers of the show ended up wanting to have the voices closer to each other to make the atmosphere more consistent, I guess. Of course Bale's interpretation is sort of "realistic" in the sense that his Batman sounds completely different, but he was allowed to go too far with the growling imo.

@MrReuben13 actually, he does change the sound. he's the first to use two slightly different voices for batman. it's just not as noticeable as the "christian bale coughing up a hairball" transformation. in the show you hear that bruce's voice has a lightness to it.

A cross between Kevin Conroy and Christian Bale would be INCREDIBLE.

Don't get me wrong, Kevin Conroy's a brilliant voice actor, but he uses the same voice for Bruce. I mean, wouldn't someone have thought, "Hey he sounds exactly like the Batman!" and worked it out by now?

Adam West has Batman's boy scout character. Christian Bale has his hurt and angry character. Michael Keaton had the detective character down... but Kevin Conroy is Batman's soul.

The only thing Christian Bale couldve done better is not make Batman sound like he has emphysema and throat cancer.
