Maybe it just quickly converts synthesized sounds to samples.

Yes, it is software-based FM synthesis AFAIK, so as you say, it uses an internal buffer to play back real-time software generated synthesis.

man, this totally fucking rocks!! i live in canada and was thinking about nanoloop but it will cost oer a hundred dollars.... but it seems like it would be worth it??

yeah im from australia, so it wan't cheap to buy it by any measure, but it was well worth it i thought --- the best nanoloop yet!

God littlescale. i didn't realize this was with nanoloop before i watched it. i don't think you put it up, but you should consider putting up Dallas, Four AM.
