Take a tour of Taipei 101 in Taipei, Taiwan -- part of the World's Greatest Attractions travel video series by GeoBeats.

This tower broke the record of ''world's tallest building'' and held the title for six years.

It's called Taipei 101 because it has 101 floors, going beyond the barrier of 100.

The skyscraper's shape resembles a branching plant and was partially inspired by bamboo.

Taipei 101 was completed in 2004 and reaches a maximum height of 1,671 feet.

The mirror-like blue-green glass of the tower subtly changes with the sky's color.

There are two inside and one outside observation decks, all over 1,000 feet high.

The tower also glows in the 7 colors of the spectrum, one each night.

  • @firefrank07 If you say "taiwan NOT Province of China" which is not to respect the Chinese. ALL people in China feel offended.

  • Please modify your so-called "Province of China" which is not to respect the Taiwanese. ALL people in Taiwan feel offended
