Pomona PD Attempts to Infilitrate Checkpoint Forum

Thursday August 21, 2008The forum was infiltrated by agitators who were quickly identified by several parents and students as officers of the Pomona Police Department.

Sergeant OMalley of the Pomona P.D. is the grant writer who applied for the State of California Office of Traffic Safety (OTS) Sobriety Checkpoint Grant.

The video below shows Sgt. OMalley accusing Dr. Calderon for being a liar probably because he argues that the checkpoints are first and foremost a way of ridding the city of its poor and immigrant populations.

Sgt. OMalley threatened to take the man sitting next to him outside with the other officers to beat him up.


Ive never seen them before and they knew my name and my license plate number. Probably because Im part of the Coalition, said the threatened community member.

There was approximately twelve Pomona Police Officers reeking of liquor and posing as civilians with anit-immigrant sentiments.

Its OBVIOUS that the cop was there acting like an complete ASSHOLE. BUT, as we all know, Pomona is full of GangBangers and drunken Mexicans that have no drivers licenses or insurance. Its not the only city that has that mess but at least they are doing something about it. Its very simple, DONT DRIVE WITHOUT A LICENSE - DONT DRINK AND DRIVE - AND DONT BE AN ASSHOLE GANG BANGER...and really...dont be an asshole cop.

why not just get your license? I don't know what it costs in California, but in Colorado it costs $21 to get your license. How is $21 too expensive for the "poor and immigrant" population? I am friends with many first generation americans who immigrated here from a variety of countries and they all have their drivers license.  I can't say I am a fan of cops in general, but they too have a right to free speech. Your way would be like them taking you to court but you cannot fight the charges.

i dont like people breaking the law in pomona but ive lived in ontario and upland and the crime is low and the cops really try to help and be understanding in pomona in the other hand....... maybe one day this too should change

"why are these out of towners so concerned?" Have you heard of the Mississippi Freedom Ride? Well if you haven't it was a campaing launched in 1964 in attempt to register as many African Americans to vote in Mississippi. Most of the volunteers went to MS. from the North, they traveled HUNDREDS of miles to promote and support equality. Efrain is doing the same thing, exept he only drives a few miles.

This is really sad that these people have created racial tension, more than there already existed. I never see them try to compromise. impounds have been reduced from 30 days to usually one night. But yet they are not satisfied. oh, they only care about the people from Mexico, and don't give a f--ck about 2-3 genenration Mexican americans. Racism still exist and is very alive in Pomona. by the way, I do not love the police nor do I hate them.

Mr. Calderon does not work or lives in Pomona. He lives in San Dimas near the post office. So why are these out of towners so concerned? If it was such a problem in Pomona, why aren't the residents protesting? Oh, I guess we are too stupid and need the guidance of an educated man. lol

The guy next to O'Malley is Efrain and he lives in Chino. He is the one suing the city of Pomona, which has a budget deficit. If he cared about our city, why sue? It will hurt the people he is suppose to be helping.
