@thebaldurian Huh? I'm talking about Pier Angelli (who died back in the 70s). Why did SHE leave Jimmy Dean while he was in NYC filming a project...she mentions in several interviews that Jimmy was the "only man she ever loved," so it's ironic that she was the one who did the "leaving."

So if you loved James Dean...why did you marry Vic whats-his-face like a week after James went ot NYC to shoot a project? And break his heart? I will never understand that whole drama, or her for that matter. And her marriage to Vic ended in divorce like three years later, so that couldn't have pleased her Catholic mama anymore than Pier marrying Jimmy would have.

Man she was beautiful- i can see what Kirk Douglas, James Dean and Vic Damone all saw in her. Tragic that she developed mental/health issues later & overdosed- a real waist!
