BTW, i have the 6 pc(now 9 pc) Hyperdrive in sugar white w black nickel hardware, and use the evans ec2's, and remo ebony on the reso heads, and my god,,,,the sound that comes out is awesome!!! But thats my taste, to each their own.

@themouseisinthehouse I am using the Flip HD cam. :)

@beatsundreime I tune my bottom heads a little tighter than the batter head. Once I tune the resonant head to the tone I want it at, I then tune the top head to where I like it matching the resonant head.

how do you tune your toms?

I have the red fade Hyperdrive 8/10/12/14/16 and I think Emperor sound amazing on them. They really shred and boom. Exactly what I hoped for in a kit. You really like the G2 coated?

@forkhead Definitely. Warms up the sound BIG TIME. Never got compliments like I do now. Every time I gig with the G2 Coateds, I am always told I have the best sounding kit.

Not for nothing, but your drums aren't sounding open because your using EC'2s. Your using the wrong heads if you want an open sound dude. The EC2's are meant to kill overtones for that deep thick sounding tom sound.Think Lars from the black album or the justice album. If you want a lively sound, go with some coated for the batter heads. My point is, you cant say you dont like evans because of those heads! Evans has some of the best heads. Remo are seriously overrated! Happy Drumming.

@soundwave132 I have actually moved on a lot since I made this video. I am in LOVE with the Evans G2 coated combined with the Evans G1 clear for the reso heads. BEST mix ever on my kit. My drums sound bright and sing through my music like nothing! Thank you for the look out though. Much appreciated, :)
