there is something about lynch's films that i find more frightening than any horror movies i have watched so far in my life. it brings up feelings that i can only describe as purely unsettling. something that makes your heart jump and feelings of anxiety and true fear crawl up your spine, but i can never pinpoint exactly what it is about them the only way i can describe the feeling is if your in the woods at night in the pitch black with another person and they say to you something is wrong here

I don't know if jumping to that conclusion justifies his films to be honest. I think he's just very in touch with things dark and "strange"
