Electric Ladyland is my favorite Hendrix album. I used to work for a major oil company in NY. One day I hear this guy singing at a company sponsored employee talent show. He is awesome (like Otis Redding awesome) I was asking him ? why he never pursued career in singing. Never gave me a good answer. Long story short. He was a studio vocalist at Electric Ladyland Studios in 60's and 70's. Guy used to hang out with Hendrix. And Hendrix even lived in his apt in Greenwich Village for a spell.
