An audio documentary I did for my Documentary Photography/Audio class. It is about the University of Maine Steam Plant. It focuses on one worker Mike Messier who is quite a personality at the place, and he talks about the way things work there and how it heats the campus both economically and machine wise. He also discusses his relationship with his co-workers. Hope you get a feel for the place and the atmosphere that comes with such a job and the workers there.

  • This is a wonderful video. It is great to see the inside of the plant, and Mike is a really engaging narrator.

  • Thank you! I am glad you liked it. It took a lot of pictures and recording time to get what I needed. The post audio and image adjustments took even longer.
