@NancyLil1225 Agreed. I heard James Williamson of Iggy & The Stooges play better rhythm guitar on Purple Haze than Jimi (which shocked & amazed me); albeit with horrible tone (via his setup/the recording); but it's very rare to hear anyone top Jimi in any aspect of his own songs.
On The Wind Cries Mary, Jimi was sheer perfection... Untouchable.

I hate whatever instrument she's playing, it sounds terrible.. but she sings this quite beautifully. Much better than the Mayer cover, in my opinion.
