Monroe County Executive Maggie Brooks wants to destroy historic pieces of downtown Rochester, NY to make room for Renaissance Square - possibly the most ill-fated least organized project in Rochester history (even counting the Fast Ferry).
"Ren Square" is a three part project, and if the money isn't raised for the project, Monroe County still plans to tear down occupied buildings - replacing these generators of positive tax revenue with empty lots.
Meanwhile the City Council - more concerned with playing politics than with be proactive to save these irreplaceable pieces of the community's heritage - sit idly by and hope that they won't have to stand up for the community.
Harry Davis is a candidate for City Council who ACTUALLY CARES about our city. He wants to be a Councilmember for the good of the community, not just because it is a "nice gig to have". Come November please vote for Harry Davis so that there is someone on the City Council that puts the best interests of the community before their own interests.

so great, you won, and Rochester still has those "historic" eye sores which are vacant and useless.
