  • But I can`t play games if the game data is in a rar or zip file.

  • @taylortheweber lolol

  • Thank You Mate!!! I was hoping I did not have to zip it up but who cares. Have a great day, year and life.

  • yes but if its a bublic pc you cant install any software like unrar . it would be better to set a psw like office and not with third party software -.-

  • And now my porn is safe.

  • i just love youtube when googling how to make a password like this. Now my parents cant see any photos of me using drugs, Lol

  • @WoodzTV No, you would need winRAR to access the .RAR file

  • @notfunny333 This is NOT the same thing, Password protecting or Encrypting a Folder would mean that that user has the SOLE ownership and rights to that folder, meaning you would have to enter a password to Access, Write to , Delete or edit the folder in any way, whereas an archive is locked so you cannot access the contents, however the archive can be renamed, or deleted, or moved. Although the contents are secure, the archive itself is not.

  • @SKEEZIN08 My point is that the title says how to protect a folder, A folder is used to access files right? And an archive does what its name says, It combines everything into one file that you must extract the files to access them, If I needed to lock a folder to house multiple files that I dont want anyone to read / edit I wouldn't want to extract all my files to edit them, and then archive them again, Its not efficient when you have many or large files

  • @Moose1207 lmao that makes no sense if the archive is locked and the folder inside the archive it is now locked as well lol if not then i should probably lock up everything in my house individually everytime i leave then set the alarm and lock the front door doesnt get any secure than that right?
