You have to unlearn what the scientist do, assumption is what they base their hypotheses on. The bible interprets itself. But most people assume things with out looking for the understanding from the bible itself. That is why there are 40,000 Christian religions. Most read something and make a judgment on it without looking for the meaning in other parts of the bible.

The bible was written about the people of that time, but is for the people of our time. This can only happen through inspiration.

In those days amongst the Jews a slave was someone who usually owed money and could not pay it back. It was not like the slaves in the early days of the States. Where they captured people, and forced them into slavery.

It was usually a thief, that could not pay back the money he stole. Some were ones that became willing 'slaves' until they paid back the money he owed. This arrangement meant that the victim did not lose out. ( like it is today) Also every 50 years all debt was canceled.

Sorry but there is no book of the bible called Thomas.

Jesus his followers will not learn war any more.So anyone or group or religion that goes to war, is not following Jesus. No it doesn't mean all Christians lie, it means the ones that do not follow what Jesus said and did when he was on earth do not follow Jesus

Many call this time we are in the information age.I call it the misinformation age. The scientists and religions, are doing the same thing, misleading people. he results are the same

The hypotheses of 'evolution' demands that the origin of life be from non creation. If creation is involved even if is just a cell , the scientists would have to find out who that creator is, just like religions do now. Also they would have to find out what how much coding that creator did to get the variety we see today. If a creator started life then all life is created. But that is not what the scientist are promoting, they say this all happened naturally, no creator needed.

"For I have seen god face to face, and my life is preserved" Gen 32:30

"And the lord spake to Moses face to face, as a man speaketh to his friend" Exo 33:11

Seems pretty straight forward to me, The bible does not seem to mean these phrases in a metaphorical tone or else it would have been worded differently. BUT, if it was intended to be metaphorical without seeming metaphorical, couldn't we assume the entire Bible is just a metaphor?

And stoning people for working on Sunday is not bad? so, owning and beating a slave is not bad? so, committing genocide for your faith is not bad?

If he wanted us to hate something that is bad, he would have us hate organized religion, because even if it was created in his name, it follows none of his teachings.

Jesus killed a young boy for bumping into him in the Gospel of Thomas 4:1 "Jesus was provoked and said unto him, 'Thou shalt not finish thy course.' And immediately he fell down and died."

    you're sour about that.

and all of the wars that were waged due to Christianity came from people of high religious power such as the pope, saying that they received a message from God telling them to spread his religion, but they must have been lying? This must mean all Christians can lie about feeling God?

The theory of evolution has nothing to do with creation, the theory of evolution does not state that the first cells spawned from nothing and thus was evolution. Evolution states that organisms change and adapt over time and can become entirely different species through repeated genetic mutation, which is a fact.

Evolution states that we changed over a very long period of time into what we are now, evolution is a debate against the story of genesis not against a god creating life.

I didn't say that, I was merely stating that you fill two stereotypes. Plenty of Bronies are Christian, MLP has no reference to god or church in any way, and I would not be so bold as to draw a connection, good or bad.
