if thise tune was made & mixed in 97 why the doors realesed in the boxed set of 2007

@JonasVanRetro jim recorded it solo during a poetry session then the doors added music to it for the 1997 box set. they later included it in the perception box set due to the lack of unreleased material from the l.a. woman sessions, the session tapes were missing until about a yr or 2 ago.

@hairdoggy because the lyrics are so unfinished, so raw, that's what makes this such a cool tune. A chance to look inside Jim's soul without all the filtering & editing. I love Jim Morrison, I remember the joy of hearing new Doors songs when I was buying all the albums as teenager. Hearing this has given me the same pleasure, many thanks for the upload, RIP Jim, you'll always be the Lizard King!

I took the line "her mother smokes diamonds" to mean she wastes money, "her father has passed over & her sister is a star, & her mother smokes diamonds & she sleeps out in the car" Mum is lonely cause Dad died yet rich cause sister is a star, she wastes cash(smoke diamonds) & cant afford a home "so she sleeps out in the car"

Yo're right man but the thing is if Jimbo made he's solo work back in 71, The Doors made music & mix up with Jim work, why the doors relise thise tune at perseptions box set!? Is 10 year of distance man!

@jaggermorrison2010 Ok so I googled diamond cigarettes and I all I could find were lady diamonds which were launched in 2006, maybe there was a local brand but Im uncertain about the cigarette thing, sorry

I didn't think it outside the realm of possibilities that a rock star like Jim Morrison would have access to all kinds of drugs before the main stream public would. However, I was informed that "Diamonds" were a brand of ciggs back in the day. That is a brand I had never heard of until jaggermorrison2010.

The Doors is the only band that has no songs that I dislike. I can listen to all of them and never skip over them. It's unbelievable.

@jaggermorrison2010 I agree with you totally, I think a big reason why the doors are still so popular is because of the many different meaning to Jim's lyrics continuously attracts newer & younger audiences
