@MrJumblerr The feed coming directly from WNBC shows the impact didn't affect their coverage, rather the interruption was the extra signal being fed to CNBC. /watch?v=BjUUSbWk60M
@HillcrestCapital The tape didn't "break." -- that was a temporary loss of signal. I'm guessing since when the picture returned it was showing the hit on the second tower, it had something to do with that tower housing various television signals and whatnot. Try not to make conspiracy theories, okay?
In this video, you will see the second plane hit the second World Trade Center tower. At this point in time, CNBC was the only network that had detailed reporting. Mark Haines was the main anchor.
@BoundaryShift Including those who shorted Untied and American Airlines prior to 9/11. I wonder why? ;)

Here's the same impact video WITHOUT the "break" - this is directly from WNBC, the same affiliate CNBC was piping into. /watch?v=BjUUSbWk60M

United Flight 175 enters your screen at 7:56 at upper right hand corner, right on cue of the intro to WNBC audio coverage. Quite chilling to watch.

@MattAllendorf Funny how the picture came back AFTER the impact. It just happened to go out at "impact"?

Look at the S&P Futures plummet from 8:18-9:55. Investors knew right away what was happening.

@HillcrestCapital Because their transmitting equipment was on top of the tower.
