A JB Love Story // Chapter 51.

*Hayley's P.O.V*
I woke up the next day in my bed. I got in here right after the sun had set. I looked at my alarm clock and groaned at the sight of the time. six o'two. School started at seven thirty. I got out of bed slowly, pacing myself slower than I ever did. I took a shower in cold water at first, which definitely woke me up. I changed the temperature of the water to warm. I got out at did my usual hairstyle, wavy loose. I hurried out of the house and made my way to school. I got there extremely early, 20 minutes early and the halls only had a few people in them, no one near me though. I decided to just clean out my locker, organize it an all. By the time I had done so school was going to begin in 10 minutes. I saw Alora, Nick, Kevin, Danielle and Joe approaching me. I got nervous; I still couldn't get the courage to talk to Joe. I stuck my head into my locker, avoiding conversation with anyone.
"Hey." Alora said as she unlocked her locker.
"Hey." I mumbled.
"Ready for the big game today?" She asked all cheerfully.
"I guess. Don't we have practice on the football field this afternoon?" I asked focusing on Alora.
"Yeah. So we know what were doing." She said. Nick crept behind her and poked her sides sending her to squeal. Everyone stopped for a second, but kept moving. She playfully hit him causing him to tickling her until she begged him to stop. They were always so flirty. He backed her against their lockers and was trying to make her surrender. They were so adorable together. I quickly glanced over at Joe and he was no where near Camilla. I was surprised. I looked back over at Alora and Nick and remembered what I was wearing. I had completely forgot. I was wearing my blue and white cheerleading uniform. Our mascot was the panther. I grabbed my Math book, and closed my locker. Alora and Nick had their things ready and were just talking. I walked up to them, and felt weird when I walked in on their conversation.
"Math class?" I asked them.
"Sure." They said walking side by side. I walked by Alora's other side and joined in on their conversation about the game that was tonight.
The day went by fast and before I knew it, it was practice time. They decided to change the practice to inside, so we wouldn't sweat. I walked with Alora to the gym. Once we got there, basically half the girls were there. We sat down on the blue mats and started stretching. Unfortunately, I left out one detail. Miley is the captain. Her dance routines suck and the rest of the girls make up their own ones and try and we all put everyone's ideas together. We practiced our routine to the song we all picked out as a group, Kicking and Screaming. We did our routine until it was down-pat. The game was going to start at seven thirty. It was seven fifteen right now and all the girls were in the locker room, freshen up. I was hanging with Alora, talking to her about my day and asked how her and Nick were. Basic stuff. We had done each others hair, pulled it back into a tight ponytail with blue and white ribbon hair tie to hold it up. Suddenly seven thirty had rolled around, and we were suppose to cheer in front of our school. I was more nervous about seeing Joe than anything. We walked outside and hid behind a banner with the football team. Yes, we had to do that running out to the crowd thing. The announcers voice boomed through the whole stadium. I peered over the side of the banner and saw the bleachers filled. I started shaking off my nerves. The announcer let out the words I was nervous to hear.
"Welcome your Pacific High Panthers football and cheerleading team." We ran forward and all the cheerleaders ran to the sidelines. We started cheering on the boys as kickoff started. This was the start of a long game.
