  • Not just great players but great communicators as well. They play with a clear and common purpose and it sounds so much better to my ears than so much of todays piano trios. Magnificent.

  • Beautiful piece I've never heard before. Different but unmistakably Duke.

  • is this available on cd?

  • SIMPLY awesome. i regret never having the chance to listen to them alive.

  • People nowadays forget one of the key things about all types of music. Less is more. I think Duke did more with fewer notes than anybody else would, especially compared to guys nowadays who are always trying to over complicate things. Keep it in a context and make the notes matter. Its not just a key or just a fret.

  • clever duke, love it............

  • @alisanchazz Check out his handiwork on Ellington's Far East Suite, especially the opening number, "Tourist Point of View". This very rhythm section drives the hell out of the orchestra.

  • Listen in mono

  • Duke el mas grande músico de USA

  • so clear and minimalistic!! delicius!

  • With Duke, you don't listen to music, you watch notes gently blown by the breeze on canvas.

  • simply he's the best!!!!!
