This 30" Walleye was caught using a crankbait with fisheadtackle bottom bouncers while fishing the Rock River near Sterling Rockfalls Illinois. Photos of other big fish I caught that same day in the video. Get these sinkers at http://www.fisheadtackle.com

  • Dixon if you want to fish in deeper water where you can troll, rockfalls if you want to fish from the bank or sit in a boat and cast. Otherwise from the bank RF is probably better.

  • What kind of crankbait? I always use white bombers nice to know what else to use

  • @rambojr123 It was a Jr Thunderstick, minnow color.

  • Great walleye

  • @jsmith6266 - Thanks!

  • Holy crap nice fish! thats a very nice fish from the rock, good to see her released.

  • @wifisherman - Yes it was, seems the Rock can put out bigger fish that the Miss. river can. I do release most all my fish, and with the digital age, photos and videos can please an ego without having to mount.
