ok i used to be hardcore goth we used to eat emo like u for breakfest mainly becuase u poisened gothic culture because certin ppl will call us fuckin emos that that cant tell the diffrence even gothic stores dont sell the proper equipment at the gothic stores anymore the only stuff was the trenchcoat the rest i had to order online because the pants were discontinued expcet online the only were ur fuckin emo tight pants all i have to say to that is ur sister called she wants her pants back

@TerrorxwithxMascara It comes from both sources. The music part was stated, and the Gothic architecture came from the visagoths. Because Gothic architecture is mainly dark and elaborate (like the dark, elaborate melancholy, music), people referred to the new melancholy punk offshoot Gothic. Also, Gothic also refers to some literature like Edgar Allan Poe, becaus of it being fantastical melancholy and elaborate.
