@EvilLamas Have you seen Ashtanga Yoga? We do the L-sit when we jump through with straight legs, you can see my video on it here: youtube.com/watch?v=BAT4K-r7pb

@KinoYoga Yoga nowdays has become somewhat `chickified`.... done as the easy option of weigh loss etc by many.... incoperate even just basic push ups in to your exercise etc (although if you can do any pseudo planche push ups, do them instead obiously) and eventually you will be able to do a bit of the tuck planche- try it now in fact; go in to an L sit, but with your legs tucked in as much as you can, and simply try to rotate round s much as you can- it's how I first learned!

@EvilLamas Thanks for tip! We do "frog stand" in yoga, but it's called Bakasana. Planche is a really hard movement and I checked out the "pseudo planche push ups" and felt so weak!!! You can always be stronger ;-)

@KinoYoga learn the tuck planche first, to attain that- do horse stands (often called frog stands) and `pseudo planche push ups`...
It will take a while, if you're not already doing stuff like this, but it's attainable for anyone!
