@erniero this is true however new studies have shown that when a snake constrics, yes the prey cant breathe, but the prey dies from so much pressure on its body that the heart stops. it is actually quite fast as well, so all the bunny huggers who think live feeders prey is a horrible way to go, its over pretty quickly tbh, but admittably there are better ways to die, but its nature so.........



Constrictors suffocate their prey, tightening their grip with every exhale until the animal cannot breathe in anymore. They do not crush them.
