廟 街 榕 樹 頭 附 近 有 幾 間 歌 廳 ﹐ 也 許 年 輕 人 不 太留 意 ﹐ 但 卻 是 寂 寞 的 中 年 漢 、 老 年 人 的 精 神 寄 託 。 花 20 元 茶 錢 就 可 以 進 去 消 磨 半天 時 光 ﹐ 聽 一 眾 歌 女 唱 國 語 老 歌 或 粵 語 新 歌 ﹐ 如 果 願 意 多 花 一 百 幾 十 點 歌 或 上 台 與歌 女 合 唱 ﹐ 更 會 受 到 歌 女 前 呼 後 擁 的 辛 勤 招 待 ﹐ 享 受 片 刻 做 大 爺 的 滋 味 。

幾 間 外 貌 過 時 的 歌 廳 ﹐ 同 時也 是 一 眾 歌 女 生 存 和 尋 夢 的 地 方 。 美 薇 的 身 份 曾 經 是 夜 總 會 的 紅 歌 手 ?? 飄 洋 過 海出 埠 登 台 賺 大 錢 的 表 演 者 ﹐ 現 在 卻 要 半 接 待 半 唱 歌 。 茵 茵 從 來 不 因 為 外 界 奇 異 的 眼光 而 看 不 起 自 己 ﹐ 上 了 舞 台 便 是 她 一 天 最 輝 煌 的 時 刻 ﹐ 心 中 鬱 悶 全 消 。 茶 客 ﹐ 歌 手 ﹐ 廟 街 小 小 的 歌 廳 蘊 藏 著 一 段 段 不 為 人 知 的 故 事 。

no need to feel sad, they feel happy within their own life and friend circles.

the elderlies are able to find friendship, caring and attentions in the cabaret.

the singers are able to extend their professional life.

all these are great.

let us pray that this will not disappear upon the ruthless hand of city redevelopment.

It makes me want to go to those cabarets too to physically feel the ambiance
