Knowledge is power! This is a good video. The best and easiest to understand workbook which can be used by anyone to become an accomplished conduit, tube or pipe bender can be found on a youtube website at /t04041951

@ogdoad4 Yes. If you try to go much less than 100mm though then there are problems fitting it in the machine. The solution to this would be to bend it further along and cut off the excess. This would not be possible of course if it was in the middle of a series of bends.

@ivorbiggass so you can mark off any measurement from the fixed point?

No reason mate. 150mm was just a measurement I picked at random to give an example.
-
why is it 150mm from end of pipe to centre?

Chrislemin. Thanks for the comment. As it is a difficult job keeping young students from falling asleep anyway, I would not recommend the soothing music unless accompanied by sticking pins in them to keep them awake :)
I intend selling the books for a small price as a PDF download as I have had to give up full time work due to family issues and need the dosh.
What model bender is that?

the one i used in the vids was a cheap and nasty one that was bought in by the college. Hilmor or record are the best in my opinion. Ive had by Hilmor for years
