  • what a useless review. "It's a great camcorder" tells me nothing.

  • Nice advert... now, where is the review that's mentioned in the video title?

  • The fact that it's sold at Future Shop might give you a hint... That it's garbage.

Future shop always sells the mediocre models.

  • Ok, it uses flash memory and "it's cool". And ?? How's the build quality? How's the battery life? The weight? The zoom? Can you use filters on it? Hellllooooooooooo

  • I have never even heard of Aiptek. Caon excels at optics and I have just purchased the Canon HF10. I couldn't be happier! The "prosumer" camcorder market is one of the few where brand name really does make a difference. If you are happy with your Aiptek product, that's great! But to take a jab at a brand new true (consumer) HD camera from a well respected company like Canon without even trying it out first hand doesn't really lend your comment much credibility.

  • I'm interested in this camcorder...anyone know if Future Shop will be selling this HD camcorder? And what the price might be?? Can you also record in standard definition too?? I don't have an HD tv yet, but I plan to buy one in a couple of years.

  • Yeah and why don't the TV and Movie productions use Sony Handy Cams? Because you get what you pay for. Handy Cams aren't bad necc. HV20's rule for the quality to cash ratio. It's ok man. Hang in there.

  • Just b/c it's HD doesn't mean it produces the color/tonal/light quality that real cameras produce. The Aiptek is a deal and good for the buck. But gimme a break man. Lowest priced HD camera with Manual settings that produces qual images is the HV20/Vixia HV30 line. Sony is a bit more but not better in the top end of the consumer range. ($745-999)

  • Duh, I am using Aiptek HD and the picture quality is high definition.
