AoC Priest of Mitra - Spells and PvP

Video taken from Gamespot PvP Weekend after the NDA lift. Demonstrates spell effects as a lvl 20 priest of mitra and includes clips from some pvp matches.

Overall feel is that the class at this point is very underwhelming, lacks dps, and has little CC. Healing is mostly hot based, fairly weak, and cannot keep up under focus fire.

I disagree. I played wow for about 2 years before I decided to try Conan, and I haven't turned back since. Roll on a PVP server for good pvp, you join a guild, make alliances, make enemies, and it quickly because group based pvp. The combat in Conan isn't amazingly boring like the spam click-fest WoW is. This game actually requires some concentration to do well.

@Zeemis am actually switching from wow to AoC, i read alot about it and i think its an amazing game...

i read about the classes, the thing is i still dont know wich class is more fun to play with, but am goin either for POM or HOX, but after reading what u wrote i'll probably choose a PoM, am used to be a healer in wow anyways!

I am pom and my k/d is 4:1 without any gank, you just have to know what your class can do, if you roll pom and think "yupp, i got a healer clasS" you will always suck at pvp, if you roll pom and think "now its the time to fuck demos" you can pwn em
