Hmmm... In the first shot, little "Jimmy" looks an awful lot like Brian Forster, the young actor who played "Chris Partridge" on "The Partridge Family" starting in 1971.
Back in the mid to late sixties i always liked commercials on tv and radio that used popular hit songs with the words changed for whatever product was being sold. Coca Cola, Chrysler were big into this. Some songs were sung by the original artists. Look up "its a radial age" which is for the first radial tires sold in the US that were made by BF Goodrich, that is done to "sign of the times" Plymouth used popular songs during the 69 model year as well.
All vinyl interior, vinyl roof - hell yeah!

@DanMan869 : that IS Brian Forster - he did a lot of commercials before he broke into television. Cute, no?

Petula's little friend must be about the same age as I am, since I was four in 1968.

Would love to own a Plymouth like that
and maybe i will take out Petula for a spin
in my 1968 Fury w. a Chrysler 440 - 4 barrell cui. engine and the great torsion
air-ride suspension, WW tires, custom
wheelcovers and a vinyl-roof.

Chrysler could use some of Petula Clark's magic right now. What a classy lady she was, and is.

I can't imagine Petula Clark driving a '68Plymouth Fury. They should've gotten Raquel Welch or Sharon Tate to do the commercial instead.
