A lot of people don't know that Barack Obama produced a "Red Telephone" ad too, but the Clinton campaign beat him to the punch and aired theirs first. Through my contacts I was able to view his unaired ad, and here it is.

  • It's ok if u dont agree with his policies, but he is still qualified to be the President-- thats all I'm saying Nate.

  • It's not that I think he is fresh off the street. It's that I think very few ppl have what it takes to be President. Even if he has the temperament (he probably does) he lacks the experience, even now, to make a firm decision without changing his mind on camera twice before he settles on a direction. Guaranteed, one day he says something on TV, then the next he will say the exact opposite! It drives me crazy and does nothing for me to have confidence in the man.

  • I don't hold US Senators in the same regard as you do. To me the US Senate is a den of thieves with big ego's and are not held accountable for the things they do to the nation. Having said that, it is a necessary evil. I actually am trying my best to be proud of President Obama. But how can I be silent when I have fundamental disagreements with many of his policies? I am tense and nervous because I doubt his instincts and we are in seriously dangerous times.

  • Having a Harvard Law degree doesnt qualify sumone to be President. But, u act like Obama is just sumone off the street. Mind u, he is a former U.S. Senator. Further, he is facing catastrophic problems, and u can't expect his policies and plans to be perfect or directly please u. Nate, will u please give him a chance, and stop being so hard on the man.

  • So anyone with a Harvard Law degree is qualified to be President of the US? I'm not saying Obama is not smart. He is very smart. I'm saying he hasn't run ANYTHING before becoming President, meaning he has a super steep learning curve that I find nerve racking. And his policies are beginning to reflect the fact he has no idea how money works, or how healthy companies are supposed to run in free market economies. He has lofty goals and anemic policy details/infrastructure behind them.

  • President Obama is competent and qualified-- umm a Harvard LAW school graduate. Further, he knows what he's doing even if some people don't agree with him.

  • Yes he is our president now. But you're telling me that getting voted into office automatically means that person is competent, and qualified?!! Lord, Lord you really trust government, don't you. You're saying no elected official has ever been in over their head? What planet are you from? I have some Municipal bonds I want to sell you.

  • well he's our president now, and America would not of voted for him if he wasn't qualified.

  • Clever. But Lord help us if Obama is elected Activist-in-Chief. He plugs his nose before reluctantly pinning on an American Flag lapel pin to his pretty blue suit. Has he ever been an executive over anything sizable? Has he ever had to make a call that goes beyond rhetorical arguements? I fail to see how the man is qualified to even run. It speaks volumes about the state of the DEM Party.
