The Autons used to scare the shit out of me when I was a kiddo.

Remember watching this on my own as a six year old in 1970. That scene where the auton kills and vaporises the man in the tent is my first memory of televisual terror. What they've done with Dr Who today is a disgrace. The people the BBC employs today, I don't know where they get them from.

It's nice to familiarize myself with Classic Doctor Who when much of my DW-based exposure comes from the Revived Series.
