@spanish111japan both.  the national language (japanese) class, the newspapers, the novels, the mangas use vertical writings. other classes, pc input/output, the scientific books use horizontal ones.

I am just curious. Do people in Japan usually use pens? For the brush stroke like feeling or do they use えんぴつ？ Your writing is marvelous by the way.:)
