Curiously enough, the most taxing of them all is the Mozart Queen of the Night Aria, allthough the least flashy. She was very good in it too.

THANK YOU! It is always a delight to hear the bright voice and superb technique of Roberta Peters. These film excerpts show her charming and polished performances as seen frequently in the 1950s and 1960s on television in the US. It is just a shame that the MET did not have its LIVE FROM THE MET series sooner or we would have surely seen her in Barbiere, Lucia, Rigoletto, etc., as we often heard her on the radio.
