Wow. I used to attend Fannie C. Williams middle school when it was housed in Sarah T Reed. I remember riding the school bus from my house, (Litte Woods": around Hayne & Bullard) through the "Village". I used to admire they way the Vietnemese held on to their culture. It was realy a "mini" Vietnam back there.
Post Katrina, I wondered what happened to that part of the East. It was a part that many forgot about......I didn't....
well i guess you can say new orleans east is good as it was pre-katrina. sigh.. here comes another hurricane season..
