Just a few clips I took of the American Le Mans Series race in Long Beach on April 13 & 14, 2007. Sorry, no crashes. Just some nice sights and sounds. If you know the track, I started at the hairpin and worked my way around most of the track. I hope you enjoy.

  • no lets get this straight the porsche's did not win it was the Audi's of Lucas Lur and marco verner in the Lmp1 audi r10 tdi they won the overall victory the porsche's did not get the overall victory but the won the lmp2 class that day.

  • Carlos, thanks for watching and the comment. I double checked and you've listed the 2008 race results. For 2007 the Porsche Spyders of Timo Bernhard/Romain Dumas and Ryan Briscoe/Sasha Maassen finished 1 and 2 in both P2 and overall.

  • so what coler was the porsche i didnt quite catch

  • Sorry it's taken so long to respond. They are yellow with red trim. It's quick but the best view is at 3:10

  • Awesome video. Did you go this year? It was a great race and I got a couple of vids together on my channel. I really like your view from the hairpin - it is at that point that you can see the cars just mash ont he throttle from practically a standing start, and you really get to see what those cars are capable of!

  • Thanks. We went for Thur, Fri and Sat. I wish they would just get rid of Champ/IRL at Long Beach and have instead a 6 or 12 hours of LB with the ALMS. That would rock.

  • thanks you a porsche fan caus i am

  • You should go. Long Beach is a good track to go too. And ya, you can walk all around the track. Friday all seats are open and is the best day to walk around and when most of this video was taken. Saturday gets crowded and some seats are reserved. Sunday is a circus and most seats are reserved. We're there for ALMS race so usually don't go on Sunday.

  • Thanks for posting.. will have to attend one of these one day.. do they allow spectators to walk around to different areas of the track?

  • Ya, couldn't agree more. Some day I'll have to go to France and watch the real thing.
