365 - One Year Video :

I came up with the idea to make this video on the 31st of December 2010. I was with some of my best friends, on a golf course & I decided to take a golf flag from 2010 & bring it through 2011 with me, I brought it back to my house, it stayed there for the next year, I also decided to document that entire year & when it was over to pile all of the pictures into one big video. I had no idea at the start of this how important it would mean to me by the end.

When 2011 was over I placed the golf flag back where I got it on the 31st of December 2010. I felt like I could let go of the deal I made with myself to add every picture into this video & let go of 2011 & start fresh in 2012. The flag in my room was always a constant reminder to keep documenting over the whole year & it paid off in the end.

I had lots of trouble looking for a right song to put with the video. I always loved the song "Hong Kong" by Gorillaz, but I felt like an instrumental of it would fit better, that is how I came across a youtuber named Kobe who uploaded himself playing Hong Kong on piano. I messaged him asking could I use his cover in my video after explaining what it was about.

Shortly after I got a reply, Kobe offered to re-record his cover because of some mistakes and let me use it in my video, here is a link to his channel : http://www.youtube.com/user/kobeip

It is even more special because Kobe himself is actually from Hong Kong, everything for this video just came together so nicely, Anyway I hope people enjoy this video, some wise words at the end by a very wise man.
