To purchase this DVD, The Murder Of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. please visit www.AfricanHistoryNetwork.com for more information.

A very insightful and thought provoking lecture by Dick Gregory and Steve Cokely revealing little known facts in the events leading up to and including the assassination of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. on April 4th 1968. Dr. King was only 39 when he was assassinated. Many of these facts were released by the Freedom Of Information Act in 1993.

Did you know that African-Americans and European-Americans were involved in the plan to assassinate Dr. King?

Did you know that the U.S. Government had Dr. King under surveillance the day of his assassination? They were across the street from the Lorraine Motel.

To see this entire 2 Disc, 3.5 hour DVD presentation, you can purchase it as well as many others at www.AfricanHistoryNetwork.com.

  • Naw!! I dint think he meant that he moved intentionally so that who ever shot King to get a better shot i think he meant that the killer waited for him to move to get a better shot! Dont think Im apologizing, im a black and as radical as they come, but this is a little suspect!

  • All I can say is "wow"

  • 04:55 i just start felling sick, jive ass uncle tom

  • The sad fact is that we are coming to terms with this 30-40 years later. We need to become more proactive when situations like this arise: we're often a day late and a dollar short. Going forward the standard should become that any time there appears to be impropiety involved with black political activism we need to jump on it and gain control of the media images and process right away. Bill Lyles running around the country talking about he was MLK's friend - he ought to be shamed of himself.

  • Keep your eyes on the puppeteer and not the puppet. Every weak man has a price. Jesse is weak. And i ddnt realize just how weak until he got caught slandering President Obama. And Billy Kyles shud be strung by his toes for corrupting the movement as well. May God have mercy on both of their souls for betraying his friend and mentor.

  • ive seen jesse jackson before...that opportunist...

  • @dlivingto NOOOOOOOO Whites (CIA) had that done, but used blacks to get the job done. Get it straight!!!

  • Only two things will bring light to those with darkness in their hearts: The Truth of Allah, and the hellfire. La hawla wala quwata illa billah. Salaam.

  • OMG...OMG...So what happens now?????? This makes me so sad...Now we know that Blacks had a hand in killing both Malcolm and Martin...

  • Im curiuos to know how did the people react, when this guy slipped up? did hetry and correct him self? did they boo?
