I came across Arnel's band prior to Journey, "The Zoo". He sang a rendition of "Honestly" (better then I ever sang it I might add), and then I listened to him singing Journey songs as well.I said"this guy could sing for Journey!" I thought he would be perfect in Journey. A few months later I heard through my connections that Neal had heard Arnel soon after by run in. So, I'll take full credit for discovering Arnel and pitching him to Journey, indirectly:-)

I thought this song was never meant to be sang by anyone but thge vocalist of Stryper, but the quality of the voice of this singer makes makes me think over. Stryper was a Cristian band. And the lyrics of the song expresses so. Excellent interpretation.
