After watching the documentary on Tommy Chong last night (title:a/k/a Tommy Chong) I latched onto a quote by our dearly departing president Bush and made the following rant.
If the war on drugs would be fought on tobacco and alcohol, we'd save billions and billions of dollars worth of medical bills for people who have lung diseases, alcohol-related traffic incidents and alcohol poisoning, just to name a few.
But that doesn't weigh up to the tax benefit the gouvernment is making from "the people's drugs". And at the same time, there are millions of Americans who can't pay for health insurance, probably because the costs are too high. HUH?
