Epic Cycle-Smart Cyclocross 2009 Pro Men Crash

Fans lined the start getting ready to watch the pro men start on November 8. Then course quickly narrowed and it was a crash waiting to happen witch heavy metal barriers on both sides.

i watched it frame by frame and you see a man in black and blues front wheel tip the read of a CCB rider in blue and orange. In the middle of a field sprint this was complete carnage. The orange barrier got kicked back 3 or so feet as bodies violently crashed against it.

I was I hadn't flinched with the camera but that gate was scary.
