http://www.netbooknews.com An exclusive hands on video with the ViewSonic VNB101 netbook straight from the press conference. It's a very slim and light-weight design with a li-polymer battery. It has borrowed some of its design from the Asus Eee PC S101, as most of the ports are around the back. The model in the video even has a built in 3G modem, but we don't know if the shipping models will feature this.

  • specs?

  • Atom N280, 1GB of RAM, 160GB hard drive, WiFi, Bluetooth, that's pretty much it. We should be getting a review unit, so we'll cover it in more detail then

  • jeez I'm so tired of the same old generic netbook specs. I'm hoping Intel puts out something a bit more powerful into these because I heard youtube HD streaming / hd flash video doesn't run very well.

  • yeah hd flash is a problem but you can be sure that we will see new devices by the end of this year with more performance and different features

  • 3:17 ...can somebody put extra memory to that model?

    anybody knows?

Im having this model and its very very good for its price..

  • you probably didn't noticed it has 2 usb ports, on left and right sides

  • For a weird reason i find centered touchpads more beautiful than this ones here.

  • 2 usb . dude.

  • 1 USB port ??

And if you use a mouse you don't have any USB ports left ! omg this sucks xD

  • Gibt es eigentlich auch matte Displays? Ich kann diese Spiegel nicht mehr sehen... -.-

  • I'll have to ask ViewSonic and see if they're thinking about launching them in South America. At least in Taiwan, there are several netbooks on sale that aren't sold with a contract tie-in, so it's very possible that you'll be able to get it from somewhere without having to sign the next two years of your life away ;-)

  • ahh thank you kind sir / and or madam
