@reigneize Additional info, the role for Kim in Ms. Saigon was actually first offered to regine velasquez, they picked regine because of her distinct voice, pero nung nalaman na ni regine yung role, nag-back out sya, feeling nya, hindi pa sya ready for the role na may mga kissing scene and she;s anot comfortable singing one entire song entre ng paulit-ulit, sabi nga nya POP singer sya, gusto nya paiba-iba, kaya nung nag-back out sya, they an audition kaya nakuha si Lea Salonga.

@mellycung um if you think she sounds like a terrible karaoke singer then you haven't heard her other songs or covers. She is excellent. Voice control and in belting. Don't judge unless you know.
