There r many commonalities between Bataheen, Bija & Shukria due to boarders interaction & same style of living BUT they are a very distinct group. Of course they share the same music rhythm, instrument (Rababa), style of dances, sword, Stick in addition to similarities in the Dress. In summary Sudan is a continent & there r very common traditions between different tribes & groups. If you need to know more about Bataheen & their dances, I can upload more BUT give me some time

Sorry for not responding. It is time constrains. Bataheen tribe FAMOUS Arab tribe that sticks to its traditions. Their major location is in AL Bataheen Area extending from Khartoum North to Atbara in the North, bordering Bija in the East and Shukria in the South. They r nomadic tribes, rearing Camels and farming. Their Main Capital is Abu Delaig City North East of Khartoum North. Their Famous chief of the Tribe (NAZIR) is AL SHAIKH TALHA a very popular Sudanese chief.

These tribes are northen Cush'ites Beja all batahen hadandawa beni amir all those are northen cush'ites thats related to eastern-cush'ites like the Soomaali-Cush'ites of the horn of africa/east-africa and the Afar-Cush'ites.. they all same black Cush'itic group, not arab or white or bantu.. this is east african Cush'itic cultue... and just because u are muslim that doesent mean ur arab.. Muslim is a Faith/religion identity... not race-identity... word of advice GET EDUCATED Fool!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
